LaundroLab and 2ULaundry are poised for explosive growth across the country and are looking for a Sr. Field Marketing Manager to lead the way for our LaundroLab brand. In this role, you will develop the LaundroLab marketing strategy for both the franchisor and our franchise partners across the country.

The ideal candidate is a customer obsessed marketer who is looking to change an industry to help build the first nationally recognized brand in the space. You’re going to be our marketing leader and brand ambassador that owns our retail marketing strategy to include developing and executing on how we support our franchise partners from preparing for a successful Grand Opening through the lifecycle of our partnership. You’ll develop our performance marketing programs, playbooks, and a 5-star marketing support strategy that helps our corporate and franchise partner stores achieve gross revenue & community impact success.

What are the key responsibilities of the Senior Field Marketing Manager?

  • Develop and own all aspects of the LaundroLab field marketing strategy
    • Develop the overall marketing strategy for our network of LaundroLab stores including developing campaigns and programs to drive growth into our stores through National (Brand Fund) and Local Marketing programs. These include digital, in-store, and organic grassroots efforts tactics.
    • Iterate on current marketing playbooks that can be easily understood by franchise partners to execute on a local store level.
    • Review and analyze consumer data to provide recommendations on adjusting marketing strategies and tactics to drive frequency and increase revenue.
    • Develop a Local Store Marketing calendar, including the development, execution, and communication of local “opt-in” programs designed to grow revenue and improve the customer experience.

  • Provide world-class franchise partner support
    • Present to franchise partners about the LaundroLab marketing strategy and support system. Work closely with the Training team to build out all the support assets, including a robust Resource Bank, Learning Management System, and more.
    • Provide marketing recommendations and counsel on both strategic and tactical questions to franchise partners, quickly and effectively

  • Collaborate internally and externally to achieve our goals
    • Partner internally with our Marketing Project Management function across brand, design, paid media, paid search, web, and content to inform and ensure an integrated campaign strategy and communications plan that delivers the brands strategic intent across consumer touchpoints. Manage and work with our Field Marketing Account Manager to support franchisees and stores with marketing-related requests, including local creative development, deploying CRM initiatives, paid social posts, local listing updates, national promotion support, and any other needs. Partner closely with our New Store Opening and Field Operations teams to strengthen relationship between Marketing and Operations, ensuring all marketing activities are vetted to best suit store operations and staff.

  • Own and optimize the customer experience
    • Find ways to collect data from customers and franchise partners to drive insights to improve the customer experience through employee interactions, signage, and all other touchpoints, both online and offline.
    • Work with corporate store general managers to test marketing initiatives and campaigns with the goal of rolling out successful ones to the franchise network.

  • Own goal setting, reporting, and analytics for your area of business
    • Report on marketing KPIs and project status updates to Executive Leadership Team members.
    • Set clear targets and KPIs to ensure the teams are constantly pushing themselves to hit the next level.
    • Own and report on field marketing KPIs including Store Traffic, Monthly Active Users (MAUs), Gross Revenue, Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), and more.

  • Take initiative of professional growth and development
    • Travel when necessary to industry or profession specific conferences to learn from and network with other laundry and / or marketing leaders across the country.

Who is the ideal Sr. Field Marketing Manager?

  • 5+ years of experience in a multi-location retail environment; franchise experience highly preferred
  • 5+ of experience developing national and local marketing campaigns, and demonstrated experience developing brand plans and creative briefs, either independently or through an outside agency
  • Extensive knowledge of all marketing media including digital, paid, and social media campaigns
  • Advanced understanding of managing the marketing campaign process, inclusive of leading the review process and providing creative feedback
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, including agency, internal creative, media strategy, legal, operations, innovation, finance, business development, and preferred brand and marketing vendors to reach strategic goals
  • Ability to interface comfortably and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Supervisory experience and ability to influence effectively (up, down, and across the organization)
  • Success in driving business results through executional excellence
  • Strong overall business acumen with a proven ability to connect strategic objectives with action
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, shift priorities and work under tight timelines
  • Very adaptable with the ability to exercise patience and understanding throughout the campaign development process
  • Patient, empathetic, and assertive when interacting with franchise partners to set expectations accurately, hold each side accountable, and collaborate to achieve store performance and franchise partner satisfaction goals
